Time to get Naked.....again!

The naked pallete is a nude lovers best friend! I bought the original palette the week it came out and have used it loads! It definitely has become my go to and is also great when travelling as you can vary the looks you do from one thing!

So when I heard Urban Decay were bringing out a new palette I was a bit skeptical- I mean how many neutral colours can there really be??? But in saying that I really love this new palette.  The colours are more taupe-y compared to the first which is more gold and I love that it contains a matte black to really smoke up a look.

Sorry for the rubbish pics my camera is rubbish!
Only one colour was repeated from the first palette which happens to be the one I use the most which is half baked (second from the left)

I think the palette is not necessary if you have the first one unless you are a true beauty junkie and if I was to choose I would choose the first over the second eyeshadow wise but the second is better case wise! The case is much more sturdy in the second palette. I have travelled alot with the first and it perfectly ok.

So I guess what I'm trying to say is they both have their pro's and con's.

I got mine from http://www.buyapowa.com/cobuys keep checking back to see if they bring it back, if not you can pick it up from Urban Decay!!

My favourite books.

So this is a bit of a different post for me. I love to read and unfortunately don't get to read too  much but since I got my kindle for Christmas 2010 I have really started to read more and lately there have been a few books that have really stood out to me. one being a series.

THE HUNGER GAMES

The hunger games is an amazing trilogy and is coming out at the cinema on the 23rd of March. I got into these books from my friend Lucy who was reading them and in fact our whole group of friends started reading it!!

The story focuses on Katniss the female lead and is set in the future in America after a massive world war. The country (now called Panem) is split into 12 districts which are ruled by the capitol and each year a boy and a girl from each of the 12 districts compete to the death in an arena! its an absolutely amazing trilogy and I would recommend it to anyone who loves a good book. I will also being going to the cinema when its release to see whether the movie lives up to the book.
